How To Regain Control Of Your Good Morning Routine

Good Morning Love, and welcome to episode 8 of  "Inspire My Morning"
I'm so excited that you're here! This morning we will focus on how to regain control of your morning routine.

So there is something very important that I forgot to tell you. I truly apologize for that. I forgot to inform you that establishing a good morning routine can be a bit of a fight. Life can throw you some curveballs that make you just want to give up, but you can't do that.

Having a good morning routine isn't just some cute thing we are doing. It's setting you up to have a more successful life. If your morning is out of control your day will be also.

Remember, that one day leads to one week which leads to one year which establishes the outcome of the next five years. When you have a good morning routine, you're literally commanding your day instead of it commanding you.

When you're off your routine, you feel off balance. Your days just seem to happen without your input. You may find yourself struggling to find positive energy, and you start coping with life instead of living it.

Yet, I'm here to tell you that you have power over your morning. You can whip your routine back into shape and get right back on track. Here are a few tips to handling your morning before it handles you.

Tip #1 GO TO BED EARLY: listen, if you've been off track for a few days or weeks, and you're feeling like a hamster on a wheel while trying to catch up in your life, simply shut it down. Get in bed at 5:00p.m. and go to sleep.

This is what I call a reset day. I know you have a lot of reasons why that's difficult to do, but it can be done. You might have to work a half-day, then take leave; ask a friend to pick up the kids, or plan it on your day off.

You're worth it. It will change your life and put you back into a positive energy flow. On your reset day, you may find it hard to shut off your mind and responsibilities. However, if you don't do this for one day, it may cost you many days. You may even need to take something to help you relax, but go to sleep, and reset your entire system.

Tip #2 OVER INDULGE ON POSITIVE MESSAGES: when life has thrown you some curve balls and your energy is low, your mornings can put a beating on you. This is the time that you want to receive from someone else who is on a higher vibration than yourself.

I usually turn to God and spend a lot of time in prayer. Every time I feel discomfort, anguish, or behind on progress, I just pray. I get in bed early and talk to the Lord. Another thing that I do is listen to lots of sermons or positive messages. Sometimes the sermons aren't what I want to hear, but they change my perspective and put me into a better headspace. Positive messages also help me to re-center and find reasons to pick myself up and press forward.

Your morning runs by your mentality. If your head is out of order, your body will follow. That's a major step to regaining control of your morning routine is rest and mental conditioning.

You're not going to feel like doing this because you are conditioned for the negative response your body gives you. You're hearing negative things all day, but you have to choose to find the positive in all of the negative that surrounds the world.

That's why I don't go by feelings. I understand that if I don't get back in control of my mornings, I'm going to lose control of a lot more stuff, and I've come too far to turn around.

In essence, you're going to have to fight to regain control of your mornings despite what situations may have caused you to get off balance. You'll need to force-feed yourself positive messages to raise your vibration and regain control of your mentality.

Tip #3 RISE ABOVE YOUR EXCUSES: Look I know something out of the ordinary may have happened that is causing you to restructure your morning routine, however, wake up earlier; fight harder. There is always going to be an excuse as to why you can't get a handle on it.

Lately, my morning routine time has been cut in half. Yet, I'm discovering how to adjust to changes and still get ahead of my mornings to have a great day.

If I missed the mark yesterday, I'm going to leave that in the past and reach for the mark today.

It's 80% mindset and 20% action. It's all in your head. You have to choose to rise above your excuses and still have a good morning so you can have a great day.
